Poor Riley came in to the shelter as a stray. She has not had a good life. She's an older gal, probably lived outside her whole life. She was covered in fleas and pretty shut down. Initial exam shows she is mostly deaf, has cataracts and arthritis. At least she's heartworm negative!! We'll get to know more about her personality as she settles in to her foster home and starts to feel better. She needs a loving home to live out her remaining years knowing warmth, caring, and love! |
