Odin was born in the rescue on 7/15/21 and adopted at 8 weeks.  He was returned to the rescue this w/e because he was not a good fit for the family.

Odin is a husky/shepherd/chow mix.  All of these breeds on their own is enough to handle but a mixture of them is a challenge all it's own.

Odin is a wonderful pup, loving and full of personality.  He is also a headstrong pup and a future leader in his mind :)  He's doing well with all the adult foster dogs in his foster home but he does try to herd, and boss them around too.  Some allow it, some put him in his place.  Still, I see where this might be an issue in a permanent home.  That said, he needs a home where the resident dog is patient and tolerant of such a personality.

We were told by the adopters that he was aggressive with their kids.  I had Odin with my grandson for several hours and observed no aggression.  But because of his personality we would prefer no young children in the home.

Odin needs a family that is dog savvy that will love him and train him with ONLY POSITIVE reinforcement training.  We will need to approve any trainer hired to work with him.

We want to see Odin in a home where he can flourish and grow up to be the awesome dog we already know him to be.
