Violet came to us with a litter of day old newborns. Violet is a senior gal, so it wasn't so easy on her body to grow and feed babies, but she made it happen. She's finished having puppies - forever - and ready to live out her years with you! 


Violet has good house manners. She's amazing with her potty habits and generally does well with respecting the space. She does like to play with toys and chew items, in absence of them, she will find something! She does well with other dogs, given proper introductions. She's super human friendly and LOVES attention. She's not much of a cuddle bug. She's always near enough for an ear scratch or a little butt wiggle, but isn't the type to be in your lap. 

 

We don't know much about her history other than her lifelong people left her at the shelter when she went into labor. They reported that she was a friendly dog that plays fetch, loves treats, and is highly intelligent. 

 

As some of us are well aware, with age comes lumps, bumps, and joint irritation. She's going to need a little extra care and her people should be prepared for that. Violet is Heartworm positive and will receive treatment through the rescue.
