Pearl came to us via the Chatham Coumty puppy mill seizure.  She was one of 174 dogs taken off the property.  During intake in the field Pearl had a severe vaccine reaction and was treated onsite and at the ER vet for observation overnight.  We do not know if the reaction was due to her immune system being so compromised or if it was true reaction.  That said, future vaccines will need to be treated proactively and under the treatment of a veterinarian, i.e. NO at home vaccines.

Pearl has started to learn how to be a house dog.  She is learning to potty outside and is slowly becoming less skittish.  She loves people and will soak up ALL the attention you are willing to give her.  She is used to having someone home during the day so someone that works from home would be ideal for her.

Pearl LOVES toys and running around her fenced in back yard.  We have not started working on leash training yet but hope to start that soon.
