Lady is a 6.5 year-old female mixed breed, roughly 40 lbs. She came to Pawfect Match when her shelter flooded from Hurricane Helene
She was brought along with the cat Meow Meow, when their owner passed away. Lady gets excited to see other dogs and will approach them with wide tail wags. She has spent time with multiple small dogs in the shelter, both on and off-leash, and has done well. In her kennel, she approaches familiar staff members for treats and will freeze and nervously allow them to clip leash her. She walks well on leash and we expect her to be an easy dog to manage in a new home. Lady and Meow-Meow are bonded and would be best to go home together. After a week in foster Lady's personality has blossomed. She is playful, enjoys toys, and seeks attention. She walks well on lead, knows sit and lie down commands.
