Butler came to us as part of an operation in where 145 dogs and one kitten were rescued out of a "house" in Florida. They were living in terrible conditions. But this pup seems to be resilient and eager to live a full life with someone that is willing to give him a chance. 

At 14 pounds and approximately 4 years old, Butler is starting to blossom in his foster home! He actually warmed up pretty quickly and will now come when his name is called. He loves getting the zoomies in the backyard with his fellow foster friends, so he would love to have a dog buddy or two to pal around with in his new home.

Because of his prior living conditions, Butler is not used to the workings of a "normal" household - everything is new, so he likes to check it all out to see what it's all about; supervision is key until the newness of homelife wears off.

Butler is affenctionate and sweet and will make an absolute fabulous friend for his new family. Keep in mind, though, that anything new may be startling to Bulter - patience and time are everything to a charmer like Bulter.
