Obi is a 3 year old(born December 2010) 75 lb Boarder Collie/German Shepard Mix. He is mostly white with a few black spots. He loves to play! He is full of energy, but does great with small children. He loves to go out for walks and chill out on the couch with his loved ones. He loves a good hike and to go swimming in the Neuse. He went through a phase when he was younger when he would chew but has sense outgrown it. He does get very excited when people come over to the house, causing him to do some jumping. He usually calms down within ten minutes of guest arrival and is content just hanging out! He went through PetsMart training and knows Sit, Come(even though sometimes is reluctant to come), Paw and Down. He does NOT like crates and has actually broken and broken out of 2 in the past. We tried continuing his crate training and it did not go well so he has freedom to roam the house but as I said does not usually get into things. He gets anxious when locked into specific parts of the house(gate up in the kitchen, etc.) but with regular walking's we have seen his anxiety level lower. He is very loyal!
