Shepherd / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Medium
Raven is very shy and timid but not aggressive. She seems very uneasy and always 'on guard' of her surroundings, but that seems to be getting better. I have her in a crate when I leave and also at night, she whines a little each time I put her in, but quiets down quickly and doesn't try to get out. She also barks a little when I let her out of the crate, out of excitement I imagine. Kind of a barkey / whine. Her former owner had a 3 year old and a 6 year old and was very good with them, but I haven't had her around kids She's good with my dogs, no aggression. The former owner also had a cat and they all got along. She walks on a leash well. Not too interested in toys yet, she was playing with a ball last night and this morning a little, but is easily distracted. Overall she's a good dog. I think whoever adopts her would need to understand it will probably take a week or so for her to completely settle down. She's very shy and reluctant, but very sweet. She's bonded with me quickly, always wants pets and love. She sits on command and is learning what 'no' means and is learning quickly. From what I know she has some german shepard in her, but has floppy ears, more like a lab. She's probably 35-40 lbs now and I don't suspect she'll get much bigger, just hopefully fill out a little.
