Someone contacted the rescue to report that Arie and her siblings were alone after their mother died. They were in the cold, under a trailer, and only 2 days old. Two heroes from our rescue jumped in the car and drove hours in the night to retrieve them from under that trailer. Already, sadly, one of their siblings had died but the other 6 were saved. It was an uphill battle for some of them, with volunteers bottle-feeding them around the clock for weeks, but all have flourished and survived under this loving care.
Arie is now almost 4 months old and ready to find her forever home. She is a very easy-going puppy and gets along with everyone - dogs and cats - and has adapted incredibly well to new situations. Arie seems to have mastered her housebreaking but of course a pup this age may still have an accident until a little bit older. She is crate-trained and, as with everything else, is very accepting of her crate. Arie is very into her "people" and will follow you wherever you go. She has a shiny black coat with white on chest and tip of tail plus 4 white feet. She is a doll! Please come meet this little girl because pictures can't do her sparkling personality justice. At the Southern Women's Show recently she was a big hit because of her friendly and affectionate nature and the fact nothing phased her - she just sat and chewed on her bone with all the craziness around her! If you are looking for a great little puppy who is already well on her way to being housebroken, this is the one for you!
